Aloysius was a previous team member of Singapore General Hospital’s Obesity Centre and metastatic prostate cancer multidisciplinary teams. With a keen interest in oncology rehabilitation, Aloysius was awarded the FY2019 Singhealth Health Manpower Development Plan (HMDP) Fellowship for exercise rehabilitation in patients with metastatic prostate cancer. Aloysius also won the Singapore Health Service Quality Awards in 2018 and 2021 for providing outstanding care for patients and contributions during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Her passion is in the field of hand and upper limb rehabilitation, where she has experience managing conditions ranging from repetitive strain injuries, upper limb fractures, nerve injuries, ligament and tendon injuries, amputations, and contractures resulting from stroke and spinal cord injury.

As part of the management of upper limb conditions, she is able to fabricate splints and also provide personalised upper limb rehabilitation to facilitate return to function.

Winnie strongly believes in empowering her clients by educating them of their conditions and their rehabilitation journey, so that therapy will be client-centred, collaborative, and effective beyond therapy sessions. She constantly seeks to improve herself to provide better value for her clients.
